Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P.’s (MMP - Free Report) proposal to build a marketing affiliate has been turned down by the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). This affiliate was expected to focus on buying, selling and transporting oil. It was first proposed in November 2016.
